Vespers for the Presentation of our Lord

There will be Vespers for the Presentation of our Lord this Friday, February 1st, beginning at 6:30pm. We hope to see you there!

Vespers Jan 23rd moved to 6pm — Byzantine chant event following

Vespers next Wednesday Jan 23rd will be at 6pm in order to prevent conflicts with an event at the Frick Fine Arts Museum on Byzantine Chant. Here are the details:

Lecture by Byzantine Liturgical Scholar Rev. Fr. Stelyios Muksuris entitled “The Transformative Power of the Desert: A Liturgical-Musicological Approach to Orthodox Christian Asceticism”

Featuring musical performances by the Byzantine Choir of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Pittsburgh and special guest soloists George Hatzichronoglou and Constantine Lagouros.

It will take place at the Frick Fine Arts Auditorium (University of Pittsburgh) from 7pm to 10pm.
