Lenten Cookbook Updated

Rita’s Lenten Cookbook has been updated. After many requests, one of the new additions is a healthy salad dressing recipe. You can find the cookbook here. Enjoy!

Lenten Services, Fasting Cookbook

With the beginning of Lent there will be additional services held. Each week there is a Presanctified Liturgy on Wednesdays at 6:30 with a Lenten meal following. Meals are $8 per person (students free) and proceeds benefit the various organizations at St George Cathedral. On Fridays at 6:30 there is an Akathist service.

There are also various other services throughout Lent. Please check the services page for details.

Also, please check out our page on the Orthodox Christian practice of fasting during Lent, where you can also download a free copy of parishioner Rita Hanna’s Lenten Cookbook.

Cookbook Updated

Rita’s Lenten Cookbook has been updated with a few changes. The largest change is that the amount of tablespoons for tahini in the hummus recipe is now listed — it was inadvertently omitted previously. So go make some hummus!

Note: An updated page on fasting and the cookbook is available here.
